Tina W. Bulucea, MSSA, LISW
Tina Bulucea is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She has worked in a variety of settings to include: Living Abroad for 4 years while engaged in International Social Work/Humanitarian Aid; Field Work in home-based settings; Community Mental Health Agencies; and Private Practice. Tina has over 25 years of experience and sees adults 21 years of age and older.
Tina believes in a client centered/holistic approach that utilizes eclectic modalities to meet the needs of her patients. These include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory and solution-based problem resolution. Her clients report her to be warm and compassionate with a directive approach that focuses on an interactive relationship geared toward helping clients to change aspects of their lives causing them discomfort. She has many areas of specialization, yet some areas of concentration are in Couples/Marital/Divorce counseling; Pet Loss/Bereavement; PTSD; Chronic/Terminal Illnesses; Caregiver/Compassion Fatigue; Gender Dysphoria /LGBTQ /HIV +/AIDS and Geriatrics.
Tina Bulucea earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Hiram College. She graduated cum laude. She then went on to achieve her Master's degree in Social Work at Case Western Reserve University/Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. She graduated with honors from CWRU with a 4.0 or summa cum laude. On June 26th, 1994 Tina received the Recent Graduate Service to Humanities Award from Hiram College.
