Michelle Sammons-Ingrisano, LPC
Michelle Sammons-Ingrisano is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is supervised by Karen Conkey, LPCC. She provides individual and couples therapy to adults 18 years or older. Michelle has experience working with interpersonal relationships, fertility concerns, mood disorders, identity development, substance abuse, trauma, life and career transitions, self-esteem and body issues, existential considerations, and grief and bereavement. She often uses narrative and cognitive approaches to therapy, in tandem with mindfulness and breathing techniques. Through her work, Michelle helps clients learn how to adapt to the stressors of life and navigate the world with greater confidence and self-assurance.
Michelle earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University and is currently a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Kent State University with a research focus in multiculturalism and intergenerational trauma.
Ms. Sammons-Ingrisano is taking new clients 18 years or older for either individual or couples counseling.
