Madeline McDowell, CT
Madeline McDowell is completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is currently supervised by Michael Pollak, PCC-S, LICDC. She is interested in providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults experiencing peer and family relationships, depression, anxiety and emotional dysregulation. Examples of therapeutic interventions that she incorporates into treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Madeline also co-facilitates our Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and has experience in the Adult DBT Intensive Outpatient Programs.
Madeline earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from John Carroll University and is currently concluding her Master’s degree at John Carroll University as well. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society for counseling students and professional counselors.
