Jordon Distad, LPC

Jordon Distad is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is supervised by Michael Pollak, PCC-S, LICDC. She has a background working with adolescents and young adults in areas related to mood disorders, identity formation and relationships. She has training and experience working with anxiety, panic, depression, OCD and low self-esteem. She promotes coping and emotional regulation skills. Jordon takes a holistic approach to therapy supporting spiritual, lifestyle and career or educational goals. She often uses creativity and narrative approaches in her treatment as well as pulling from dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapies.

Jordon earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Macon State University in Macon Georgia where she specialized in a clinical and counseling concentration of her program before earning her Masters of Education from Cleveland State in 2020 as part of the clinical mental health counseling tract. She completed her practicum at The Behavioral Wellness Group assisting in The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) as well as completing a full internship at John Carroll University’s counseling center seeing individual clients and participating in community outreaches.

Ms. Distad is taking new clients across all ages.
