She has worked as a social worker and case manager at Laurelwood Hospital, a therapist in the outpatient Victims Resource Program, and started her career as a volunteer for the program.
It’s obvious that Stephanie cares about everyone in the group Evening Adult Mental Health IOP. She is very easy to talk to and give a variety of real world examples for the skills she teaches. You can tell that she really knows and believes in the skills she teaches. I can’t say enough good things about this agency. All my mental health needs are covered under one roof. They didn’t treat me any different because of my diagnosis. I’m so lucky to have found this place. Thank you!
You guys are super nice and I am 100% satisfied with the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy IOP with Cathy Knezevich.
Helping people move on with their life and manage it and their emotions. I wish I would not have to leave the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy IOP with Cathy Knezevich
I've loved DBT. I’ve learned and grown so much. I've never felt so much happiness before and truly believe I can handle what life throws at me. I never thought I'd get here with my life. Cathy and the group are amazing and I recommend it to anyone. It's such a safe place to talk and you'll get amazing feedback.
I’ve been through both DBT and IOP. Cathy and Stephanie are wonderful. They both have helped me in many ways. I’m so appreciative of both for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you to them both for helping me fight my battle with suicidal thoughts and depression!
Cathy provided validation, empathy, and a safe environment. I felt that I entered this program, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy IOP, carrying such a specific burden that no one would be able to understand or sympathize. I was so wrong, happily so. My one-on-one sessions with Tassiana also supplemented the IOP wonderfully.
I just wanted to say "thank you" to you for all you've done. I came from a pretty dark place and coming to group was definitely something I looked forward to every week. Please wish everyone in group well today and let them know I will be thinking of them.
What an amazing experience! The skills I've use will be forever be a blessing in my life. Thanks to Cathy for being amazing, kind and loving!!
Dear Cathy, I want to thank you for all your help. I couldn't have done it without you. I am really gonna miss you. God gave you a gift to help people and you sure do a great job.
Cathy connects with each of us, she listens and hears what we say, what we don’t say. I feel understood and validated.
The program is excellent and the willingness to work with my insurance company and with me is greatly appreciated.
I believe it was Divine intervention that brought me to you. I know God doesn't want me to die or He would have taken me years ago, and He keeps placing people in my life to help me through the pain. You are one of those people. The group did a lot to help me get back on my feet and realize I am not alone in these battles...and I built a trust with you...so thank you for all you have done for me and helped me through.
I believe everyone needs some support and new tools to deal with life’s problems and stressors. I have experienced people becoming stronger, happier and more centered. I am amazed by the transformation and resilience people experience when they are encouraged and taught new tools for problems.
Cathy-- I want to thank you for all your help, I couldn’t have done it without you. I am really going miss you. God gave you a gift to help people and you sure do a great job. I know that you helped me....... You made me feel so comfortable. You will really be missed and I will never forget you. K
Cathy is an excellent therapist and group leader. She asks insightful questions that show she is listening and analyzing the information, which made me feel like she truly cared and challenged me in the way I needed. She is approachable, patient and relatable.
You teach us and give us tools to break through depression. I have told people about the program and how it helps.
I want to thank you for everything you have done to help me grow. You do a great job! Thank you.
Cathy makes everyone feel like they matter, our problems are relevant ant there is a lot of encouragement and assurance that we can improve.
Cathy (Dialectical Behavioral IOP) was very kind and seemed to want to help. She definitely considered the patients and their ideas and really served to facilitate therapeutic dialogue with minimal transference of her own ideas. Coming to the IOP was instrumental in helping salvage my marriage and I appreciate that greatly. If I would need to recommend something of this sort, I would feel comfortable referring to this program.
There was nothing I was not satisfied with. I was taken care of and all my needs were met. To thank Cathy for being so kind and understanding. She is one of the best people I’ve ever met.
Thank you for helping me sort out my thoughts and give me encouragement. I am thankful to have someone as special as you for my counselor.
I really enjoyed treatment because it gave me a place where people understood my feelings. Thank you.
Creates a feeling of belonging/community. I feel understood; I am not alone.
Thank you! I plan on having a better year ...with your help that has made me a better person every day.
